Root Samsung Galaxy S4:
Everyone roots their Android phones. Samsung, Sony, HTC, every android phones are now being rooted. And you want to root your Samsung Galaxy S4 phone? Yeah, that is why you are in search of tutorial on how to root Samsung Galaxy S4. Okay, but there are some requirements.

Requirements to root Samsung Galaxy S4
The main requirements to do rooting of your Samsung S4 phone i9500 or i9505 are:- USB Data Cable
- Download Odin flashing software
- Download USB Driver file
- Download Root File
Download the specified files from the links provided and install Odin and USB Driver on your computer.

You have to download only one of the two root files, i.e, if you want to root Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505, download the second one. If you want to root Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500, download the first one of the rooting files.
Steps to Root Samsung Galaxy S4
- As mentioned earlier, download the above files.
- Extract Odin.zip file and install odin in your computer.
- Install Samsung USB Drivers for Android phone from the other file.
- Enable USB Debugging mode (or Developer mode) in your phone.
- Then Power off (turn off) the phone.
- Wait for a while.
- Now press and hold Home button, Volume down button and Power button until you see something in screen.
- Then press volume up button when prompted.
- Launch Odin in your computer.
- Click the button PDA.
- In the file selection dialogue that opens up, select the root file (CF-Auto-Root...) you have downloaded and click open.
- Now connect your Samsung Galaxy S4 android phone to your personal computer with USB data cable.
- Then click Start button in Odin.
- When the odin shows Reset, disconnect your phone from computer.
- Your phone will reboot several times.
- Finally, when you reach your home-screen, it is rooted.
